At our educational institution, the opening ceremony of the external certification audit for compliance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015 in the quality management system was held.

The purpose of the audit is to assess the effectiveness and maturity level of the university’s quality management system, confirm compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements, and identify areas for further improvement within the framework of sustainable development.

The event was attended by Rector’s Representative Naci Genc, vice-rectors, heads of structural units, directors of departments and research institutes, deans of faculties, and department heads.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector’s Representative Naci Genc officially introduced the representative of the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) from Ankara — Chief Auditor, Dr. Ismet Titiz, noting the purpose of his visit.

In his speech, Ismet Titiz emphasized: “During the upcoming audit, structural units and departments are required to comply with norms and procedures related to risks and threats, as well as to execute plans and activities on time. The level of students’ knowledge from practice to graduation will also be evaluated.”

He highlighted the rapid development of the university in recent years and expressed confidence that the audit results would contribute to strengthening the position and authority of the institution on the international stage.
