A TRAINING SESSION ON “DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE” WAS HELD

As part of the “Corporate Breakfast” program held on Tuesdays, a training session on “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence” took place at our university. The speaker of the event was the Representative of the Rector, Naci Genc.

At the beginning of the training, participants performed a series of engaging physical and logical exercises to energize both body and mind.

Addressing the participants, Naci Genc noted:

“Today’s topic is extremely important for each of us. We will examine the difference between digital transformation and artificial intelligence, which are often confused. Digital transformation means the digitization of data, while artificial intelligence is the intelligent analysis of digital data and decision-making,” he emphasized.

The speaker also presented future opportunities in the field of supply chain management, including servo-sensors, modular equipment, autonomous trucks, computer vision, and monitoring. He also discussed other functions of artificial intelligence — algorithms, data analysis, forecasting, and task automation.

After that, participants split into groups to discuss the advantages and risks of using artificial intelligence in a business environment. Each team defended its position and provided arguments, including in response to the philosophical question: “Will artificial intelligence bring happiness to humanity, or the opposite?” The discussion was active and insightful.

In conclusion, participants analyzed the benefits and potential risks of digitalization and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of responsible use of artificial intelligence.
