THE DELEGATION OF OUR UNIVERSITY IS PARTICIPATING IN THE INTERNATIONAL “QS EURASIA FORUM”

Rector of the university Zhanar Temirbekova, as well as Vice-Rectors Elmira Idrissova and Aynash Oshibayeva, are taking part in the first major educational event — the “QS Eurasia Forum”, which is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The event is organized by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, an international authority in higher education and the compiler of one of the most prestigious university rankings in the world — the QS World University Rankings.

The purpose of the forum is to discuss ways to integrate global education within the Eurasian region.

More than 300 delegations from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Hungary, as well as from European and Middle Eastern countries, are participating in the forum. The Kazakhstani delegation of representatives from the fields of science and higher education is led by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayassat Nurbek.

Today, Central Asia is steadily strengthening its position in the global educational space. In this context, the forum has become an important platform for discussing opportunities to transform the region into a unified and competitive higher education brand, drawing on its academic potential, cultural diversity, and strategic significance.

The forum provides participating universities with an opportunity to gain analytical insights and up-to-date knowledge from QS international experts, strengthen professional ties with leading universities in Eurasia and Europe, and enhance the international visibility of their educational institutions.

On the first day of the event, experts delivered substantial presentations dedicated to issues of international cooperation, inter-university collaboration, and key global trends in higher education.

It should be noted that the forum will continue on November 26.
