GRADUATING STUDENTS WERE INFORMED ABOUT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Today, representatives of the Turkistan City Career Center held an informational meeting at our university for graduating students, where they discussed employment opportunities available through the “Youth Practice” program and other state support measures.

Director of the Turkistan City Career Center branch, Nursultan Umbetuly, expressed his delight at meeting the youth of Yassawi University.
“We are conducting awareness campaigns among university and college graduates across the region about employment through government programs. You are the future of our country! We came here to inform you about the opportunities that the state provides for young people. If, after graduation, you are unable to find a job on your own, please contact our Career Center — we will help you get employed through state programs,” noted Nursultan Umbetuly.

Head of the Job Seekers Support Department of the Turkistan City Career Center, Ualikhan Aitimbetov, answered the most pressing questions from graduates and shared useful information for young professionals looking for employment.
He explained: “The ‘Youth Practice’ program is intended for college and university graduates who wish to gain their first professional experience in their field of study. The participation period is up to 12 months, and the monthly salary amounts to 85,350 tenge.” He also detailed the requirements for participation in this program.

In addition, participants were introduced to the “First Workplace” program, aimed at providing employment and professional skill development for young specialists seeking their first job.

A representative of the Department of Internal Policy of the Turkistan City Akimat and staff member of the Youth Resource Center, Mereke Kaikybayeva, familiarized students with various state programs for youth. In particular, she spoke about the “Zhas Project,” through which young people can receive a grant of 1 million tenge, as well as other programs designed for graduates wishing to start their own business and contribute to the country’s development.

Head of the Career Development and Employer Relations Department of the university, Salima Mukhiddinova, informed students about the procedures for fulfilling state grant obligations and other important aspects.

At the end of the meeting, students asked questions of interest and received comprehensive answers.
