I am a professor of Foreign Language Education. I hold a bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Gazi University, Türkiye; a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Education from the University of Pennsylvania, U.S., and a doctoral degree in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education from Indiana University-Bloomington, U.S. My work has focused extensively on curriculum and materials development for EFL instruction, teacher professional development, and language assessment. I have served as a consultant on these issues for various organizations, including the Turkish Ministry of National Education and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye. Currently, I am the executive co-editor of the Scopus-indexed international journal Sustainable Multilingualism (ISSN 2335-2027).
