Rector of the university, Zhanar Temirbekova, took part in the 4th Meeting of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs of the Turkic States and the “Women Forward: Business. Small Technologies” forum-exhibition in Astana as a moderator.
The purpose of the forum is to strengthen strategic partnerships aimed at developing women’s entrepreneurship, facilitating the exchange of experience, expanding international economic cooperation among the Turkic states, and supporting their integration into global economic processes.
Delegations of women entrepreneurs from the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), as well as representatives of the OTS, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, and the Turkish Investment Fund, took part in the meeting. This significant event brought together leaders, investors, and experts from various countries to discuss the future of women’s entrepreneurship.
The forum addressed the most relevant topics that give new momentum to the development of small and medium-sized businesses: modern technologies, access to financing, programs that allow participants to obtain information on subsidies and international grants, digital transformation, and mentorship support.
The exhibition showcased modern solutions for small and creative businesses. Participants were introduced to digital tools and compact equipment, effective technologies in the field of artisanal and industrial production. In addition, new developments for the food industry and services designed to increase online sales were demonstrated. These platforms and tools provided entrepreneurs with practical support in optimizing their businesses and expanding their market opportunities.
