At our educational institution, Professor Adnan Yazıcı from Nazarbayev University delivered a master class titled “Enhancing Scientific Potential: Opportunities for Increasing Article Citations and Improving Scientists’ Hirsch Index.”
The event, aimed at developing scientific potential, brought together faculty members, master’s students, and doctoral candidates.
This activity was organized within the framework of the research project “Development of Innovative Technologies and Creation of Modern Infrastructure for the Sustainable Development of the South Kazakhstan Region.”
The main goal was to enhance the scientific activity of the university’s researchers, increase the visibility of their research outputs, improve the citation rate of publications, and consequently provide methodological and practical support in raising the researchers’ Hirsch index (h-index).
At the beginning of his speech, Adnan Yazıcı expressed his pleasure at visiting the city of Turkistan and, in particular, Khoja Akhmet Yassawi University.
The professor emphasized the importance of research ethics, data accuracy, and adherence to scientific writing standards for international recognition of research results. He also highlighted the need to develop a long-term strategic program aimed at increasing the Hirsch index, as well as the importance of active collaboration between research groups.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their gratitude to the speaker for sharing his expertise in enhancing scientific potential.
