OUR UNIVERSITY HOSTED A FRIENDLY DEBATE BETWEEN FACULTY MEMBERS AND ALUMNI
At our university, a friendly debate entitled “What Should Be Considered in Training a Competitive Specialist?” was held between faculty members and alumni.
The event was organized as part of the opening ceremony of the Media Studio established under the Department of Journalism at our university.
The main purpose of the debate was to exchange experience, discuss pressing issues in the educational process, and share ideas on preparing specialists who meet the demands of the modern labor market.
The discussion was moderated by Zhanerke Khumar, a lecturer of the Department of Journalism, journalist of the Beine.pro online magazine, and a journalist and TV presenter of the Otyrar TV channel.
The event was attended by alumni of our university: Galiya Biseit, a staff correspondent of the BAQ.KZ editorial office; journalist-editor and media specialist Zhanibek Nurysh; and producer of the Turkistan TV channel Nazerke Aubakir. They shared their professional experiences and perspectives.
In addition, faculty members Balziya Baeshova, Atirkul Tashimova, and Tabira Bekmurzaeva actively participated in the discussion. They highlighted important aspects of developing competitive specialists, including the quality of education, practical skills, professional responsibility, and the development of creative abilities.
During the event, speakers and students exchanged opinions in an open discussion format. Participants also shared their views and suggestions regarding the requirements of creative entrance examinations and the selection process for academic programs.
Furthermore, within the framework of the Media Workshop titled “Modern Media Space: Journalism and the Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence,” Nurbek Amisha, Director of the Qyzylorda TV channel, delivered a guest lecture for students.
