A festive concert dedicated to International Women’s Day on March 8 was held at our University. The evening celebrated women and young ladies, honoring their contributions and beauty in this bright spring holiday.

The remarkable event opened with the performance of the folk instrumental ensemble “Atameken,” who played the traditional Turkish tune “Kөnіlashar.”

In her congratulatory address, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova said:
“Dear colleagues, beloved students, respected mothers, and cherished ladies! Happy International Women’s Day on March 8! This is a special holiday, a day in early spring that fills all of us with joy.

Where there is no woman, there is no warmth. Where there is no woman, there is no love. Where there is no woman, life itself is incomplete. Therefore, we sincerely congratulate all women on this wonderful holiday!”

The celebratory gathering continued with a special concert program. On stage, opera singer, University alumna, and lecturer Orazkul Dauletova performed the folk song “Sairany,” showcasing the richness of national vocal art.

The “Bi Sultan” dance ensemble captivated the audience with their performances of “Syrly Kyz” and “Karlygash,” leaving a strong impression with their expressive choreography.

In addition, talented students performed collections of traditional songs and Turkish music, highlighting the deep roots and melodious beauty of national art.

Our University’s vocal-instrumental ensemble, composed of talented and active young men, performed popular songs such as “Sol Bir Sezim” and “Qolymdan Usta,” earning warm applause from the audience.

The evening concluded with the University’s artists performing the song “Ana, sen bakyttyсың” (“Mother, You Are Blessed”), based on the words of the great poet Mukagali Makataev, touching the hearts of all attendees. This work, full of respect and affection for mothers, highlighted the essence of the event.

The festive evening, where art met heartfelt wishes, brought high spirits and the warm breath of spring to the ladies of our University.
