In 2022, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Turkestan as part of efforts to achieve the UN Women goals. The initiative focuses on gender equality, supporting women and youth, and increasing their involvement in the region’s socio-economic development.
Y-PEER collaborates with UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, which works on reproductive health, youth rights, and demographic development. Under the five-year memorandum, initiatives are being implemented in education, violence prevention, and youth leadership development.
This partnership aims to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ensure equal opportunities for all population groups.
