ACADEMIC MOBILITY: SCHOLARS FROM UZBEKISTAN AT OUR UNIVERSITY

Within the framework of the academic mobility program, our university is actively hosting scholars from Uzbekistan and facilitating professional exchange.

Researchers from the Bukhara State Medical Institute paid a special working visit to the Faculty of Medicine. The visit was organized in accordance with the memorandum of cooperation between the two universities.

In particular, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Muslima Abdullaeva; Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, and Medical Psychology, Khakikat Mukhtorova; and Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Diseases and Family Medicine, Lyubat Saidova delivered lectures and conducted seminar and practical sessions for students.

In addition, Professor Mavlyuda Artykova of the Department of Children’s Diseases and Pediatric Neurology at the Bukhara State Medical Institute is also delivering lectures. The visiting professors are providing students with theoretical knowledge on current issues in modern medicine and conducting practice-oriented classes based on clinical experience.

During the visit, modern teaching approaches were introduced and the results of scientific research were discussed. The participants exchanged experience on advanced directions in medical education.

Furthermore, under the academic mobility program, scholars from the Nizami Uzbek National Pedagogical University delivered lectures at the Faculty of Theology. Lecturers of the Department of Foundations of Spirituality and Legal Education — Khayitboy Kholmirzaev, Yakitzhan Kadirova, Markhabo Sobirova, and Khalima Kadirova — conducted seminar sessions for students in the discipline of Philosophy.

In addition, representatives of the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute are undertaking internships at the Faculty of Medicine. Within the program, PhD, Associate Professors Mehriniso Ismatova and Gulchekhra Rajabova, as well as DSc, Associate Professor Zamira Babadzhanova, are engaging in professional exchange at the Departments of Internal Diseases and Specialized Clinical Disciplines, while carrying out joint scientific and educational-methodological work with faculty members. They are also delivering lectures and organizing practical classes for students.

Academic mobility programs are aimed at improving the quality of education, strengthening international scientific cooperation, and training competitive specialists. Such collaborations contribute to the university’s international standing and the expansion of its academic environment.
