On August 25, 2013, based on the decision of the International Kazakh-Turkish Academic Council named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, the Department of Pediatrics was opened as part of the medical cluster. The head of the department was approved by MD, Professor Kulzina Askambai. Since September 1, 2015, PhD, senior lecturer Asilbekova G. T. has been appointed head of the department. The staff of the teaching staff of the Department of Pediatrics for the 2023-2024 academic year is 10.0, Candidate of Medical Sciences-2, Master senior lecturer-3, senior lecturer-1, Master teacher-2, teacher-2.

The main goal of the faculty is to train competitive specialists who are able to provide highly specialized continuous medical care to children according to the educational program 6b10155-"General Medicine" in the field of healthcare with mastering knowledge, experience in the field of healthcare and the latest innovations in the field of healthcare.
