Today, an “Information Day” event was held at the university library.
The main purpose of the event was to introduce readers to the new books added to the library collection.
The event was attended by deans, heads of departments, and students, who ознакомились with books purchased based on recommendations from departments in accordance with the requirements of educational programs.
Ninety percent of the faculties’ requests were fulfilled, and the library collection was enriched with new textbooks. In particular, books purchased upon the requests of the faculties of “Education and Humanities Research,” “Natural Sciences,” “Art, Media and Design,” “Medicine,” and “Dentistry” were placed on the shelves.
It should be noted that more than 3,000 books were added to the library collection during the 2025–2026 academic year.
In the future, the library collection will also be supplemented with books requested by the faculties of “Philology” and “Theology.”
