As of April 1, 2026, colleagues from the Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute arrived in Shymkent to the Department of Infectious Diseases and Phthisiology with a course in dermatovenereology at the Faculty of Postgraduate Higher Medical Education at the Kh.A. Yasawi International Medical University of Shymkent on an academic mobility program.
Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Dermatovenereology, Pediatric Dermatovenereology, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Mirzoeva Mehriniso Rizoevna, Associate Professors of the Department Keldierova Z.D., Khamidova N.K., Rakhmatov O.B., Latipov I.I., Ozodov Zhasur Hamzo ugli, Isroilov Shahzod Azam ugli, Zhumaeva A.A. - Associate Professor of the Department of Hygiene, student Rakhmatova N.A.Visited clinical sites—the Shymkent City Infectious Diseases Hospital and the Regional Dermatovenereological Dispensary—met with chief physicians, discussed international cooperation and clinical internship opportunities, consulted with patients, and received expert infectious disease specialists and dermatovenereologists, and delivered lectures on current topics, including the epidemiology of infectious and dermatovenereological diseases.
On April 3-4, 2026, in Turkestan, employees of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino took part and presented reports at the International Scientific and Practical Conference: "Infectious, Tropical and Parasitic Diseases: Challenges, Diseases: Challenges, Cross-Border Risks, Biosafety."
At the conclusion of the conference, a resolution was adopted. Conference participants received certificates of the established format.
Conference guests visited the «Azret Sultan» Historical and Cultural Museum and the UNESCO heritage site of the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Mausoleum.
