Today, with the charitable funds collected by the administration and staff of our university, assistance was provided to 42 low-income families in the Turkistan region — they received food packages.
This kind initiative was carried out as part of the national campaign “Nauryzanama.”
University employees delivered the food packages by truck and distributed them to low-income families at the Social Store located at the Regional Council of Veterans of the Turkistan region.
The Chairman of the Regional Council of Elders, Zharylkassyn Aziretbergenov, expressed his gratitude to the Rector of our university, Zhanar Temirbekova, and to the entire team for their participation in this good cause.
“I congratulate everyone on the blessed months of Nauryz and Ramadan! Today, Yassawi University is extending its support — 42 families have received food packages. I sincerely thank Rector Zhanar Temirbekova, Rector’s Representative Peyami Battal, and the entire university community!” said Zharylkasyn Aziretbergenov.
In turn, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova noted:
“As we know, since its establishment, our university has been implementing not only scientific and educational but also social projects. We are grateful for the invitation to support the good initiatives of regional and city elders. May such deeds, filled with kindness and compassion, become a good tradition during the holy months of Nauryz and Ramadan. A week ago, all our colleagues unanimously supported this initiative. We hope that you will accept our assistance as a sincere sign of support in this blessed month!”
The families who received the food packages, as well as women of the region, expressed their gratitude to the university staff for their care and attention.
