A FESTIVE EVENT TITLED “ТӘУЕЛСІЗДІК – ТҰҒЫРЫМ” (“INDEPENDENCE IS MY FOUNDATION”) WAS HELD
Today, our university hosted a festive event titled “Тәуелсіздік – тұғырым” (“Independence is My Foundation”), organized by the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design, and the Faculty of Sports.
The event was dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and aimed to reflect on the value of independence, strengthen national spirit, and foster patriotic consciousness.
During the meeting, Professor Bekzhigit Serdali, a participant of the December events, shared his life experience, recalled the tragic moments he witnessed during the Zheltoksan events of 1986, and urged young people to love their homeland, act responsibly, and remain true patriots.
In addition, Zere Eshmuratova, Chair of the “Azattyk Rughy” organization, and Zabirash Adilbekova, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor, shared their reflections. The speakers highlighted not only the historical significance of independence but also its special place in the consciousness of the current generation.
During the event, special gifts were presented to the participants of the December events on behalf of the Vice-Rector for Socio-Cultural Development,Yedil Tolegenov.
The students who took part in the event were inspired by the spirit of independence. They recited poems, performed songs and musical compositions celebrating the courage of national heroes, and created a truly festive atmosphere.
