Today, our university hosted a student creative exhibition titled “Path to a Green World,” organized by the Faculty of Arts, Media, and Design, Department of Fine Arts, as part of the “Clean Kazakhstan” project.

The purpose of the event was to promote environmental protection, foster ecological awareness, and support and showcase the creative potential of young artists.

At the cultural and educational event, Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development Yedil Tolegenov addressed the audience: “Dear students and faculty! Our President, Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly, is launching various initiatives to advance the development and prosperity of our country. One of these is the ‘Clean Kazakhstan’ project. Humanity is closely connected to nature. The cleanliness of the environment, unpolluted air, the natural rhythm of the seasons, and prevention of disasters are indicators of a long and healthy life. Industrial development negatively impacts nature. Therefore, let us all respect nature and pave the way for a green world! I wish success to the young artists who have dedicated their work to the beauty of our country and its natural landscapes.”

Next, Guzal Massadikova, Head of the Department of Fine Arts, welcomed the attendees: “Welcome to the ‘Path to a Green World’ exhibition, organized as part of the ‘Clean Kazakhstan’ initiative! Today, we will evaluate the artworks presented at the exhibition and announce and award the winners at the end. We invite everyone to enjoy the exhibition.”

The exhibition featured more than 20 works by students of the Department of Fine Arts, including paintings, graphics, and other creative pieces that depicted the beauty of nature, environmental protection, and visions of a sustainable green future.

It should be noted that the exhibition was supervised by Murat Shakhanbayev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fine Arts.

At the conclusion of the exhibition, students of the Department of Fine Arts were awarded certificates for their contributions to the creative display, recognizing their works in painting, graphics, and other artistic forms.
