“ATAMEKEN” AND “BISULTAN” ENSEMBLES IMPRESS AUDIENCES IN TÜRKIYE

Our university’s Atameken Folk Ensemble of National Instruments and the Bisultan Dance Ensemble performed at the internationally recognized Nowruz Festival in Turkey, showcasing Kazakh culture.

The event was jointly organized by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the Gaziantep City Municipality, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey. The Nowruz Festival was celebrated in Gaziantep from March 18 to 22. It strengthened cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Turkey and was held at a high level under the patronage of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including Vice-Chairman of the AK Party and Head of Relations with Turkic States, Professor Dr. Kursad Zorlu; Governor Kemal Çeber; Mayor Fatma Şahin; AK Party Gaziantep Provincial Chairman Fatih Muhaddis Fedayoğlu; Gaziantep deputies; district governors; Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States, Kubanychbek Omuraliev; Secretary-General of TÜRKSOY, Sultan Raev; and many other officials.

On the international stage, the Atameken Ensemble performed traditional Kazakh melodies and folk songs with authenticity and precision, earning the admiration of the audience. Meanwhile, the Bisultan Dance Ensemble conveyed the richness of Kazakh culture and traditions through national dances, receiving special recognition and acclaim.

The high professionalism and stage mastery of both ensembles were highly appreciated by the international audience, further enhancing the prestige of Kazakh performing arts.
