OUR UNIVERSITY’S STUDENTS COMPLETED AN INTERNSHIP IN TURKEY.
Twenty students from our university recently took part in an educational and cultural orientation program organized in the Republic of Turkey.
The program was designed for students who demonstrated high proficiency in the Turkish language based on the results of a language assessment conducted at our university.
The purpose of the trip was to enhance students’ motivation to learn Turkish, develop their academic potential, and strengthen connections among the youth of the Turkic world.
During the visit, participants traveled to the cities of Ankara, Nevşehir, and Istanbul, where they had the opportunity to explore the country’s historical and cultural heritage, as well as gain deeper insight into its higher education system.
The first stage of the program took place in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. Students visited the National Library, the Atatürk Mausoleum (Anıtkabir), Ankara Castle, and the historic Hamamönü district.
As part of the trip, the students not only explored cultural landmarks but also visited educational institutions, including the campus of Gazi University.
Additionally, a special visit was organized to the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities.
During the next stage of the trip, participants traveled to the Cappadocia region in Nevşehir, where they admired its unique natural and cultural features.
The program continued in Istanbul, where students visited prominent sites such as the Historic Peninsula, Eminönü, the Bosphorus Strait, Beşiktaş, Ortaköy, Galata, Taksim, Üsküdar, the Maiden’s Tower, and the Beykoz Otağtepe Fatih Grove.
This educational trip contributed to a deeper understanding of shared cultural values, strengthened fraternal ties, and supported the development of international cooperation.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their gratitude to the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities and the university administration for supporting the program, noting that such initiatives significantly broaden their academic horizons.
Our university will continue to systematically implement projects aimed at enhancing students’ international experience, strengthening cultural integration, and uniting the youth of the Turkic world around shared values.
