A BOOK FAIR WAS HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
Today, a book fair organized by the “Qasym” publishing house was held at the university library.
The purpose of the event was to offer readers high-quality and meaningful books, as well as to introduce newly released publications. It also provided an opportunity for readers to enrich their personal collections with literary works.
This initiative is also aimed at increasing students’ and faculty members’ interest in reading.
During the fair, students who are passionate about reading had the chance to explore unfamiliar books and learn about their content. They also purchased recommended works from Kazakh and world literature. The fair was open to visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
It is worth noting that previously, the “Qasym” publishing house organized book fairs at the Faculty of Philology and in Academic Building No. 3.
Tomorrow, on April 14, the book fair will be held at the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design, and on April 20 at the Faculty of Engineering.
In general, book fairs organized by the “Qasym” publishing house are held regularly on university campuses every semester.
As part of the “Book Donation Campaign,” the “Qasym” publishing house has contributed to enriching the university library collection by donating books such as “Akbilek,” “Aiel Makhabbaty,” “Stories for Children,” and “King Solomon’s Mines.”
In addition, in September, copies of “Suyekshi” were donated to the security staff of Academic Building No. 3, and a year earlier, books such as “Golden Horde” were also presented to the library.
