Today, University Rector Zhanar Temirbekova met with a talented young student from Turkistan, Bakdaulet Amirbek, and his mother, Aiymzhan Turdiyeva.
During this year’s Nauryz celebrations in Turkistan, Bakdaulet gave an interview to the Qazaqstan national TV channel, where he shared his impressions of meeting the President and expressed his excitement about appearing on his favorite channel. The heartfelt video quickly went viral on social media, capturing widespread public attention and admiration. Since then, Bakdaulet has gained notable recognition and even traveled to Astana to take part in a televised interview.
His openness and sharp thinking caught the attention of the university’s leadership. As a result, Rector Temirbekova invited the young talent and his family to the university for a special meeting.
During the meeting, Bakdaulet spoke about his life, family, academic performance, and personal interests, as well as his future aspirations. He also shared his experience visiting the Kazmedia Center and reflected on the changes in his life following his growing popularity.
Notably, Bakdaulet’s parents are alumni of the university, and his two older brothers are currently studying there. He also mentioned that he may choose to pursue his education at this institution in the future.
In turn, Rector Temirbekova expressed her warm wishes and confidence in his bright future. She emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting talented and motivated youth, offered her guidance, and thanked his parents. She also noted the possibility of involving Bakdaulet in children’s performances in the future and presented him with a special gift.
Following the meeting, Bakdaulet and his mother toured the university and gave an interview at the newly opened Media Studio.
