“Concepts of Radicalism and Extremism.”
Balaiym Tilekeeva, a Master’s level lecturer from the Department of Religious Studies at the Faculty of Theology, conducted a meaningful and highly informative open class on the topic “Concepts of Radicalism and Extremism.” During the session, the topic was explored comprehensively, with a well-balanced integration of theoretical knowledge and practical discussion. The active participation and engagement of students contributed significantly to the effectiveness of the lesson.
In addition, important issues such as the role of educational outreach in preventing radicalism, the development of critical thinking skills, the scientific understanding of religion, and its integration with national traditions were thoroughly addressed. These discussions helped broaden students’ perspectives and foster a conscious and informed approach to contemporary challenges.
