Today, our institution hosted a literary and educational evening titled “The Teachings of Abai,” organized by students of the Faculty of Philology.
The event was dedicated to gaining a deeper understanding of the life and creative legacy of the great poet Abai Kunanbayuly, as well as promoting his artistic and spiritual heritage.
Opening the event, the Head of the Department of Turkic Philology, Senbek Otebekov, said:
“Welcome, dear students and teachers! We are pleased to welcome you to today’s Abai educational program, an evening organized by our students. Abai is an inexhaustibly profound world. Today we have a special opportunity. Our colleague Maksat Alipkhan will give a speech and share his thoughts on Abai’s works, his deep ideas, and the concept of the ‘Perfect Man’.”
Next, Candidate of Sciences, Associate Professor Maksat Alipkhan analyzed Abai’s works and explained the profound meaning of his “Words of Edification.”
He also elaborated on the concept of the “Perfect Man” in Abai’s philosophy, sharing insightful views on its educational and spiritual significance.
The event continued with a concert program.
Songs, instrumental performances, expressive readings, and stage performances by students left a strong impression on the audience.
