“THE REPUBLICAN STUDENT SUBJECT OLYMPIADS HAVE CONCLUDED AT OUR UNIVERSITY”

The Republican Student Subject Olympiads, organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, have concluded at our university.

This year, the Olympiads were held in the educational programs “Physics,” “Training of Biology Teachers,” and “Turkology.”

The main purpose of the Olympiad was to strengthen participants’ theoretical knowledge through practical tasks, develop future specialists’ professional competencies, create opportunities for mutual exchange of experience, and promote high achievements based on fair competition.

Over the course of two days, talented students from across the country took part in intense competition within the mentioned academic programs, and the best participants were ultimately identified.

It should be noted that 11 teams participated in the “B054 – Physics” program, 19 teams in the “B013 – Training of Biology Teachers” program, and 3 teams in the “B035 – Turkology” program.

According to the results of the Olympiad:

In the “B054 – Physics” program, first place was awarded to the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University. Second place went to Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University and Karaganda Buketov University. Third place was shared by Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov, Taraz Regional University named after Sh. Murtaza, and South Kazakhstan Research University named after M. Auezov.

In the “B013 – Training of Biology Teachers” program, first place was awarded to Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov. Second place went to Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Third place was shared by Karaganda Buketov University, Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov, and North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybayev.

In the “B035 – Turkology” program, first place was awarded to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Second place went to L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, while third place was awarded to students of Khoja Akhmed Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.

The winning teams were officially awarded by University Rector Zhanar Temirbekova. All participants received certificates and gifts, and top performers based on the overall ranking were presented with laptops.
