Professor Davud Shahin of our faculty delivered a scientific seminar for students on the topic “Early period tafsir activity – examples from the tafsir of the Companions and the Tabi‘un.”
During the seminar, the formation of early tafsir studies, as well as the methods used by the Companions and the Tabi‘un in interpreting the Qur’an, were thoroughly analyzed with concrete examples. The session was rich in content, and students actively participated by sharing their views and enhancing their knowledge through discussion and Q&A.
The event was organized at a high level and proved to be both informative and educational for the participants.
At the end of the seminar, the Head of the Department of Theology, PhD Didar Shauenov, emphasized the importance of the seminar and noted that it was conducted at a high level.
