Today, an “Information Day” event was held at the university library.
The main purpose of the event was to familiarize readers with the new books added to the library collection.
Deans, heads of departments, and students attended the event to review the books purchased based on the recommendations submitted by the departments in accordance with the requirements of the educational programs.
Approximately 90% of the faculties’ requests were fulfilled, and the library collection was enriched with new textbooks. In particular, books purchased upon the requests of the Faculties of Education and Humanities, Natural Sciences, Arts, Media and Design, Medicine, and Dentistry were added to the shelves.
It should be noted that more than 3,000 books have been added to the library collection for the 2025–2026 academic year.
In the near future, the library collection will also be supplemented with books requested by the Faculties of Philology and Theology.
