Bekarys Tuleutayev, a first-year student majoring in Physics at our university, won third place at the National Solana Hackathon and received a cash prize of USD 2,000.

The competition was organized by Solana Superteam KZ. During the hackathon, participants presented innovative solutions aimed at addressing societal challenges through the use of Web3, blockchain, and digital technologies.

Bekarys developed the Zhasyl.kz project, a Web3 platform that integrates environmental initiatives using Solana blockchain technology. The platform records users’ environmentally responsible actions on the blockchain, ensuring transparency, verification, and immutability of the data.

The project’s innovative concept, social significance, and relevance of its technological solutions received high praise from the judging panel, earning it a prize-winning place at the National Solana Hackathon.

The project’s academic supervisor is Sherzod Ramankulov, PhD, Associate Professor and faculty member of the Department of Physics.

It is worth noting that Bekarys Tuleutayev is also a participant in the grant-funded project AP22784343, “Implementing the Continuity of an Interdisciplinary STEM Education Model within the School–University–Industry Partnership Framework.”

We congratulate our student on this outstanding achievement and for bringing honor to the university, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
