Today, in celebration of September 1 – Knowledge Day and as part of the nationwide environmental campaign “Taza Qazaqstan,” the university held the grand opening of a new recreation area.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Hüseyin Karaman, University Rector Zhanar Temirbekova, Rector’s Representative Peyami Battal, as well as the university’s vice rectors, who cut the ribbon to mark the beginning of this beneficial initiative.
The university administration, faculty deans, teaching staff, and students also gathered to witness this joyful occasion.
The centerpiece of the modern space is the Yasawi Otaýy. Specially designed benches surrounded by greenery and a dedicated dining area create a harmonious and comfortable environment.
The new recreation area is designed to provide students with a comfortable and meaningful place to spend their free time. Surrounded by nature and open skies, the space is expected to inspire students’ creativity and become a place where they can develop and bring new ideas to life.
