Two educational programs of our University — “6B04143 Accounting and Audit” and “6B04144 Finance” — have successfully received accreditation from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), an international professional body that brings together experts in accounting, auditing, and finance.
As a result, these educational programs have demonstrated their compliance with international professional standards and gained international recognition.
One of the key advantages of the accreditation is the opportunity it provides students to prepare for an internationally recognized professional qualification. To obtain the ACCA qualification, students are required to complete nine subjects. Of these, five are taught at the bachelor’s level and two at the master’s level. The University also provides opportunities to organize professional training for the remaining subjects.
This, in turn, will strengthen students’ professional preparation and expand their opportunities in the labor market. It will open up new career prospects for our students in international companies, foreign organizations, and major corporations in Kazakhstan.
In addition to creating new opportunities for students, this achievement further enhances the University’s reputation in the international education landscape. Only a limited number of universities in Kazakhstan have obtained this type of international professional accreditation. The inclusion of our University among them demonstrates the high quality of its educational programs in finance and accounting.
It should be noted that this achievement is the result of nearly two years of systematic work. During this period, the educational programs were aligned with international requirements, their curricula were enhanced, and comprehensive efforts were undertaken to integrate professional standards into the educational process.
Our University will continue its efforts to improve the quality of its educational programs and integrate international professional standards into the educational process.
