Biography
Kenzhebayeva Aizada Umiraliyevna serves as the Head of the Department of Management and Tourism. She was born in 1989 in the city of Turkistan. From 2006 to 2010, she completed her bachelor’s degree in “Tourism” at the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. She continued her education in the Republic of Türkiye, completing a master’s degree in “Tourism Management” at Gazi University (Ankara) between 2010 and 2012, and a doctoral degree in the same field at the same university between 2013 and 2018. By the decision of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye (YÖK) dated 26 December 2018, she was awarded a Doctorate degree in Tourism Management. In addition, by Decision No. 763 dated 13 November 2019 of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the equivalence of the academic degree obtained in Türkiye was recognized, and she was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of 6D050700 - “Management”.From 21 April 2021 to 19 October 2021, within the framework of the “Türkiye Scholarships” program of the Republic of Türkiye, she conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Social Sciences of Atılım University and successfully completed her study on “A Comparative Analysis of the Thermal Tourism Sector of Türkiye and Kazakhstan.”She began her career at the university as an Senior Lecturer. In the educational process, she teaches the courses “Tourism Policy and Planning,” “Branding Theory and PR in Tourism,” “Product Diversification in Tourism,” and “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship in Tourism.” Her scientific research interests include the development of health tourism. Aizada Umiraliyevna has published articles in national and international scientific journals and is also the author of a textbook on service quality in tourism.
