In celebration of Republic Day on 25 October, the TD-7 group organized a cultural and educational event entitled “Republic Day – the Foundation of Sovereignty!” at the Preparatory Centre of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.
The event was held under the guidance of Akzharkyn Baltabay, Master’s-qualified lecturer in the Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages.
During the celebration, the TD-7 students recited poems about their homeland in Kazakh, sang songs and performed traditional dances. They also took part in an educational quiz entitled “How Well Do You Know Kazakhstan?”, demonstrating their knowledge of the country’s history and culture.
A distinctive feature of the event was the heartfelt way in which representatives of different nationalities expressed their respect for the Kazakh language, our national culture and Kazakhstan through art.
The celebration strengthened friendship and mutual respect among different nationalities and became a meaningful event highlighting the unifying power of the state language.
