Within the framework of the “IV Yasawi Winter School” project, a scientific and methodological event was held.



At the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, in accordance with its established annual tradition aimed at supporting the professional development of the faculty and researchers, a scientific and methodological event was held within one of the university’s significant initiatives — the “IV Yasawi Winter School” project.
Within the framework of this project, a substantive scientific and methodological meeting was organized for faculty members, researchers, and academic staff on the topic “Methods of Securing Intellectual Property Rights for Scientific Results.” The invited speaker at the event was PhD doctor Nursultan Meirambekuly from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, who provided a professional analysis of current legal issues in the field of intellectual property.
During the meeting, key issues were systematically discussed, including the protection of research outputs as objects of intellectual property, the fundamental principles of copyright and patent procedures, as well as legal mechanisms for the commercialization of scientific developments and innovative projects. In addition, common challenges arising in the process of registering intellectual property rights in academic activity were examined through practical examples, along with possible solutions.
The scientific and methodological event held within the framework of the “IV Yasawi Winter School” project aimed to enhance the university’s scientific potential, develop the professional competencies of faculty members and researchers, and strengthen the legal culture of scientific activity. The event concluded with a Q&A session, as well as discussions and experience sharing among participants.
