Today, at the Cultural Center of our university, future actors staged the dramedy performance “117 Apartments.”

The production was presented by second-year students of the 6B02123 – Acting educational program of the Department of Performing Arts, Faculty of Arts, Media and Design.

The director of the performance and course supervisor is Assylzat Ibrayeva, Senior Lecturer and Honored Worker of the Cultural Sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The dramedy “117 Apartments” by Kazbek Amanzhol was first introduced to audiences in 2019 and quickly gained popularity among young viewers.

The performance is based on the life stories of several families who lived in the same apartment at different periods of time. Each story reflects its own challenges, drama, love, and betrayal, while the unseen owner of the apartment serves as a silent witness to all events unfolding within its walls.

The students’ acting skills and artistic performance impressed the audience and were met with strong applause and positive feedback.

At the end of the performance, Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development Yedil Tolegenov expressed his gratitude to the young performers and wished them continued creative success.
