Authorized Council Holds Its 81st Meeting, Discussing Key Issues for the University's Development

Today, the 81st meeting of our University's Authorized Council was held.

The meeting, which took place in Türkiye, was attended by the Chairman of the Authorized Council, Professor Muhittin Şimşek; Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Talghat Yeshenqulov; Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Turkey, Serdar Çam; Deputy Akim of Turkistan Region, Nurbol Turashbekov; Director of the Social Sector Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, Zhanar Aldasugurova; and the University's Rector, Zhanar Temirbekova.

During the meeting, members reviewed and heard the report of the University Rectorate on activities carried out since the 80th meeting. The Rectorate's proposals regarding student admission quotas and enrollment allocations for undergraduate and master's degree programs in the full-time mode of study for the 2026–2027 academic year were also discussed.

In addition, the Council considered a number of Rectorate proposals concerning various areas of the University's operations and development.

Members of the Authorized Council positively assessed the University's efforts to enhance its international competitiveness and ensure its development in line with contemporary requirements in higher education and scientific research. They also put forward several recommendations for further improvement.

V             ice Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Talghat Yeshenqulov, and Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Serdar Çam, emphasized the importance of prioritizing branding, modernization, and institutional development initiatives to ensure that the University continues to evolve in accordance with the demands of the modern era.

At the conclusion of the meeting, important decisions were adopted aimed at advancing the University's strategic development, strengthening its academic capacity, and further expanding international cooperation.
