Our student boxers achieved outstanding results at the Asian U-19 & U-22 Boxing Championships, organized by World Boxing in Jakarta, Indonesia, finishing among the tournament's top medalists.
Three students from our University represented Kazakhstan in the U-22 category: Aman Konysbek (75 kg), Oner Seilkhan (80 kg), and Shugyla Nalibai (75 kg). They demonstrated excellent performances and returned home with prestigious medals.
Competing in the women's 75 kg division, Shugyla Nalibai won the gold medal after defeating India's Muskan Muskan by a unanimous 5–0 decision in the final.
In the men's 75 kg category, Aman Konysbek captured the championship title by defeating Kyrgyzstan's Almaz Orozbekov in the final.
In the men's 80 kg division, Oner Seilkhan earned the silver medal after competing against Uzbekistan's Fazliddin Erkinboyev in the final, adding another medal to Kazakhstan's overall tally.
We sincerely congratulate our students on their outstanding achievements and for representing both our University and Kazakhstan with distinction on the international stage. We wish them continued success, good health, and many more victories in future competitions.
