Graduates and current students of the Bisultan Dance Ensemble took part in a joint filming project at Bozzhyra Canyon near Aktau, renowned for its striking natural beauty. The combination of elegant national costumes and spirited choreography captured both the character of the steppe and the beauty of Kazakh dance.
The special project also featured former members of the Bisultan Dance Ensemble who later established the Altyn Tamyr creative group. Current students performed the well-known dance Syrly Qyzdar, showcasing the grace and expressive movements of national art against a magnificent natural backdrop.
Bringing together the mysterious beauty of nature and traditional dance, this creative project became a unique collaboration uniting dancers who had performed with the ensemble in different years. Graduates who once honed their skills on the same stage joined today’s students to continue the artistic tradition and bring a shared creative vision to life.
Bisultan is a renowned folk dance ensemble with its own distinctive artistic style and numerous achievements. The ensemble has won various competitions and is led by Gulnaziya Taukelova, one of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s leading choreographers and a distinguished cultural figure.
The Bozzhyra filming project not only highlighted the beauty of national dance but also strengthened the participants’ shared passion for the arts and the creative bond between the ensemble’s graduates and current students.
