Today, at our university, in accordance with an annual tradition, a concert program was organized for boys who had undergone the circumcision ceremony.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Muhittin Simsek, Deputy Akim of Turkistan Region, Beissen Tazhibayev, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Turkistan, İlker Pak, university administration, faculty members, parents, and children.

This significant event has become a cherished tradition initiated by the University Board of Trustees. This year, 74 boys underwent the procedure at the university’s Clinical and Diagnostic Center and were the main guests of today’s celebration.

The first to speak was the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Turkistan, İlker Pak:

“Dear university staff, guests, and parents! First of all, I would like to thank the university administration for inviting me to this wonderful event. I have participated in academic events and symposiums at Yasawi University. Beyond science and education, participating in such cultural and social events fills me with pride.”

Next, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Muhittin Şimşek, addressed the audience:

“Dear teachers, parents, and beloved children! I am glad to see you today at Yassawi University and to meet you at this annual traditional gathering! Turkistan is our soul, our blood, and our homeland! The children of Turkistan are our children! I kissed every boy who became a hero of today’s celebration and sincerely congratulate their parents and grandparents.”

Muhittin Şimşek also spoke in detail about important parental responsibilities in Islam: giving a child a dignified name, ensuring good education, performing the circumcision ceremony, and organizing weddings for sons and daughters.

Rector Zhanar Temirbekova also addressed the children with warm wishes:

“Our event, which brings joy to every family, has been held for many years and will continue. Performing the circumcision ceremony within the university holds great significance. May children’s desire for knowledge grow, and may they become faithful citizens of Kazakhstan and the Turkic world! We wish only goodness for our children!”

The celebration continued with a special concert program by the “Aqzhaik” Music School. Songs and the sounds of the zhetigen and kara dombra touched the hearts of all present. The children sang and created a festive atmosphere.

At the conclusion of the celebration, the university administration and honored guests presented gifts to the children and took commemorative photographs.
