A FACULTY MEMBER OF OUR UNIVERSITY BECAME A SCHOLAR OF THE “BOLASHAK” PROGRAM
                            
                        
                    


                            Recently, State Advisor Yerlan Karin announced at the meeting of the Republican Commission on Training Personnel Abroad that 271 Kazakh citizens will be sent abroad under the “Bolashak” program.
Specifically, 136 of them will pursue master’s studies, 8 will enroll in doctoral programs, and 127 will participate in internships.
The commission highlighted the priority fields: 65% of the scholars will advance their knowledge in natural and technical sciences, while 35% will focus on social and humanitarian areas.
Associate Professor of the Department of Biology at our university, PhD Nurdana Salybekova, has also received the “Bolashak” scholarship and will continue her master’s studies in Biotechnology at Northeastern University, one of the largest private universities in the USA, founded in 1898.
