“OUR UNIVERSITY ACHIEVED HIGH RESULTS IN THE QS SUSTAINABILITY RANKINGS 2026”
Our university achieved high results in the QS Sustainability Rankings 2026. In the new assessment cycle of 1,994 universities worldwide, the institution ranked in the 1301–1400 range.
Additionally, in this ranking, the university took 481st place among 827 universities in Asia, and 9th place among 23 universities in Kazakhstan.
These results confirm the strengthening of our university’s position at both national and international levels.
The university particularly stood out in several specific indicators. In Kazakhstan, it ranked 1st in Environmental Research and Health & Wellbeing, and 3rd in the Impact of Education category. The institution makes a significant contribution to the development of environmental research, the improvement of education quality, and the creation of an environment oriented towards the benefit of students and society.
The university’s overall score was 44.7 out of 100. Among the structural categories of the ranking, the highest results were in Governance (64.8), Environmental Education (62.6), and Equality (60.1). These indicators reflect the gradual improvement of management processes, systematic support for environmental education, and the creation of an inclusive learning environment.
Significant achievements in the ranking are confirmed by QS certificates in the categories of Overall (1301–1400), Environmental Impact, Social Impact, and Governance. These documents attest to the university’s active participation in the evaluation of international sustainability indicators and recognition by independent experts.
