Biography
Balzhan Sharkhankyzy Sharkhan was born in Turkestan. She completed her Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD degrees in Management at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. She began her professional career in Almaty as an Accountant-Financier at "Inter Food Trade" LLC, part of the "KazAgroCapital" holding.In 2008, she started building her career in the country's banking system at "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC, one of Kazakhstan's major systemically important banks, starting as a Senior Credit Manager in the Small and Medium Business Department for the South Kazakhstan Region. In 2011, she was promoted to Chief Credit Manager of the same department. From August 2011, she served as Head of the Small and Medium Business Lending Department for the South Kazakhstan Region at "Forte Bank" JSC. Since 2014, she has held the position of Analyst in the Business Sales Department at "Bank Kassa Nova" JSC.In 2019, she was invited to join the state project "Bastau Business," aimed at teaching citizens the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and helping them launch their own businesses, as a Business Trainer in Shymkent. Under her guidance, more than 500 graduates completed the "Zhas Kasiptaker" and "Bastau Business" programs.Since 2021, she has been a Lecturer at the Department of Management at Yassawi University.Balzhan Sharkhankyzy is a strong financial analyst and a practical expert in business analysis. Under her leadership, regular meetings between students and representatives of local and regional businesses are organized. She also actively participates alongside students in social and community events. She regularly attends scientific seminars and completes professional development courses.Her professional goal is to advance practice-oriented education, train high-demand specialists, and systematically improve the quality of work across the entire department.She teaches the following disciplines: Financial Management, Small Business Management, E-Commerce Management, Strategic Management, Logistics Management, Business Communications, Managerial Decision Making, and Crisis Management.
