


Professor Candidate of Science, Serdalı Bekzhigit Kenjebekuly
Bekzhigit Kenzhebekuly Serdali was born in 1960 in the village of Ulguli, Turkestan region. He graduated from high school in 1978. In 1987, he received higher education at KazGU. He began his career in the Kentau city newspaper "Kentau Pravda" -"Kentau shugylasy". From 1987 to 1996, he worked at this newspaper and was promoted to editor-in-chief. Since 2004, he has been a member of the Amanat party, a deputy of the Kentau city Maslikhat of the first convocation, a delegate of the 1st Republican Forum of Patriots.
In 1996, he was invited to the Yasavi International Technical University. From 1996 to 2005 he worked as Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Deputy Director for Educational Work, head of the department. He is the author of 18 textbooks, more than 30 teaching aids, more than 100 scientific articles (38 of them have been published in journals with high indexed journals, 15 in Scopus journals, the individual Hirsch index is 7). 2-time winner of the grant "The best university teacher", the Grand Prix of the 2007 competition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the national TV channel "Kazakhstan".
3-time winner of the republican patriotic song contest "Elim menin". The songs are widely known in Turkey, Armenia, Chuvashia, China, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Laureate of the Vaslei Mitta International Prize in Music (Chuvashia). There are songs performed by the Daribaev family ensemble, Altynai Zhorabayeva, Dosymzhan Tanatarov, Sayat Medeuov, Gulnur Orazymbetova, Ardak Balazhanova, Shahizada, the duo "Nur-Mukasan", Kanat Umbetov and Aliya Abiken. The songs were recorded on a laser disc in Germany with the sponsorship of the Association of Kazakhs of Moscow and distributed in foreign countries.
Songs were collected, collections of songs "Anim – alemim", "Ander", "History of popular songs" were published.
Since 1987, he has been a member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, and since 2023, a member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan. The songs are stored in the gold funds of Kazakh Radio and Radio Shalkar. By the end of 2023, he became a laureate of the "Kazakhstan Society of Authors". At the Astana song contest, the song "Astana – askak anim" was recognized as the best song and included in the collection of songs.
B. Serdali is a member of the Republican public council of spirituality "Miras".

Order "Primus Inter Pares" of the European Scientific and Production Consortium (Russia, 2014); medal "For Merits in Culture and Art" (Russia, 2014); badge "member of the International Art Council" (2017); badge "member of the International Amateur Union" (2017); for contribution to literature and the art of the Turkic peoples “Gold Medal" (2018).

In 1998, for his contribution to the development of folk art, he received the "Prize of the Youth Union of Kazakhstan". In 2001, at the patriotic song contest "Aueletsek auenin Otanymnyn" in Shymkent, he won the Grand Prix and became a laureate in the nomination "Best Composer". He was awarded the badge "Madeniyet kayratkeri" by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was twice awarded a Letter of Thanks from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev (2019, 2021).
In 2002, he was awarded with the badges “Man of the Year”, “For the merits of the city of Turkestan”, “For the merits of the region”, “Honorary citizen of the cities of Turkestan, Kentau and Sauran district. With letters of thanks from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev (2019, 2022), jubilee medals ”20 years of maslikhats of Kazakhstan", “25 years of maslikhats of Kazakhstan”, “30 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was awarded the Altynsarin badges.
