Purpose:
To analyze large volumes of clinical data (Big Data) and apply artificial intelligence technologies to enable the early diagnosis of diseases, improve the quality of clinical decision-making, and advance personalized healthcare. The laboratory also aims to optimize the processing of large-scale scientific databases and the performance of statistical analyses.
Objectives:
To develop and manage databases based on electronic medical records, medical imaging data, laboratory indicators, and genomic information;
To develop predictive models and diagnostic systems using machine learning and deep learning algorithms;
To establish and improve Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS);
To develop automated methods for analyzing medical images (MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound);
To model disease risk factors, progression, and treatment outcomes;
To contribute to the implementation of personalized medicine and precision medicine principles;
To ensure the security and confidentiality of medical data;
To introduce innovative digital technologies into the healthcare sector;
To conduct scientific research and train young specialists in Big Data and AI technologies.
